If I launch speedcrunch from the application menu, or via gnome-do, or
in the terminal, the speedcrunch window appear in the background (under

I am also affected by this bug, not with FLAC files only, but alos with
MP3, OGG. Rhythmbox freezes when I use the seek slider bar.

system. I have installed the tango icon theme for openoffice via
synaptic. I know have icons in openoffice when I use the tango gnome
theme. This solve my problem.
It is a pity to have such problem, as the tango icon theme for gno
ystem useless. It did. Had to start over. So, I've loaded Gutsy twice
so far. I figure that's the only way to learn things.

I confirm this bug. The error comes from the file
/usr/share/icons/Human/22x22/apps/ooo-writer.png which in fact is the

I have cheched the other folders (i.e. 24x24, 48x48, ...), the OOo icons

When booting my Ubuntu Gutsy desktop (kernel 2.6.22-14-generic), I often
get a kernel panic. This happens quite often (almost at every boot) and
as a result I have to reset the machine multiple times to make it boot.
But once the system is finally running, it works just fine.

desktop effects where disabled and it was not possible to enable it

Gut tells me this is a network share using fuse defined in fstab which is
trying to be mounted before networking is up.
quick fix is to use fstab mount options:
noauto: to tell systemd not to make this mount point a hard dep for the ea
okay thats specifically a vmblock-fuse service issue.
open-vm-tools-desktop package provides the
/lib/systemd/system/run-vmblock\x2dfuse.mount
which is the service that is taking so long.
This isn't a systemd generated mount from parsing fstab as I first thought.
