Public bug reported:

With the last kernel upgrade "linux-generic (2.6.20.15.14) to
2.6.20.16.28.1", my batteries are no more detected.

The tray icon indicate my laptop as always plug in with AC, and in
gnome-power-preferences there is no more "battery" tab and no more
"display icon on charge" or "display icon when battery present".

Using previous kernel in grub restore the battery detection and the
missing function in gnome-power-preferences.

My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite L10.

** Affects: Ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
