I work with OpenOffice 3.0 (1:3.0.1-9ubuntu3) in Kubuntu 9.04, AMD64.
Often OpenOffice does not copy text, images, cels, etc. when following
the standard procedure. When I select something in OpenOffice to copy
(make selection, then Ctrl-C

As on my machine this bug (see duplicate bug for my exact problem) is

Most of the time my system hangs on logout.
With patience and lots of efforts I can most times switch to tty1 (certainly
not direct) and press Ctrl-alt-del to restart.
Alt-backspace does nothing.

In KDE 3 there is no line to comment out, so you 've to add this line. I

I tried coping three times with big files and it didn't fail (because of
the random character it is probably fixed, not sure)

Problems stil remain (on vr 13th!) after an upgrade from KUbuntu 9.04 - 9,10
(Toshiba with 3945ABG-card).
I did not a fresh install but upgraded.
Does anyone know what drivers / modules are involved (to check version
and installation)?

[Jaunty] Intel wireless 3945ABG is unstable and
I can confirm this bug.
Virtual box starts with kernel 4.4.0-142, but gives above errors with
kernel 4.4.0-143.
When trying to reinstall vbox (/sbin/vboxconfig as root) also the
version in kernel 4.4.142 breaks but can be easily repaired by
reinstalling vbox with kernel 4.4.0-142 active.

all-right.

If I knew how I might be able to bisect. I found some info on the issue
(see links), I think I can compile a kernel if I knew the options that
the kernel I used was compiled with. I'm not really a programmer so if I
have to read through (too much) code I will fail. Is there a link for
Ubuntu standa
Disabling tcp window scaling seems to solve my problems also (tested
with copiing iso-files).
as instructed, add: net.ipv4.tcp_window_scaling=0 to /etc/sysctl.conf.
If problems return I'll report here that it's not a complete solution.
