It's a shame because it seems that Ubuntu is the only distribution which

problems in Ubuntu for over than a year without a solution. Two releases

Adept just crashed after searching for xinerama. I just opened adept,
typed "xinerama" and after waiting a bit, it crashed.
Here is the backtrace:

I don't run it all the time but adept does crash frequently.
Nonetheless, whenever I try to search for xinerama it crashes miserably.
I've just gave it a try but this time there was no backtrace. This

I've ran apt-get update and upgrade through the command line and an
update of the findutils package was installed. After that, I re-launched
adept, ran a search for xinerama and thankfully it didn't crashed this
time.
Could this series of crashes have been caused by the previous, un-
updated xiner
I'm the owned of an Acer Aspire 1524 laptop, which suffers from this
nasty overheating problem. I've gave up on running linux on it and now
it runs windows exclusively, installed from the original Windows XP home
that was bundled with the hardware.
I've just reinstalled windows on that computer an
I just finished trying through the terminal. As with konqueror and
dolphin, a bunch of errors occurred.
The following error message is shown for each problematic file:

I don't know if this is relevant for this bug report but I've just
noticed that while some origin file's names were written using upper
case characters, the destination files ended up having lower case
characters.

I don't believe that, at least at first glance, it's not the same
problem. In this case the keyboard shortcuts do not affect any channel,
no matter what channel we configure kmix to handle.

I have a PCMCIA card reader that came with my Acer laptop and when I
plug it in and insert a card, it takes ages to get mounted. The strange
thing is that as soon as I plug in the card, lspcmcia reports a PCMCIA
device plugged in and nonetheless it takes several minutes for it
