I've tried to repeatedly install kubuntu 6.10 on my laptop and although
the first install ran successfull, the 2nd through 6th attempt ended up
with a very annoying system hang at 94% of the install process.
The one thing that the 2nd through 5th attempt had in common was that I
left the computer alone throughtout the install (selected partitions,
clicked ok and left the computer unattended) while on the successfull
installs I fiddled with the computer from time to time, playing with the
console and other similar actions. Maybe it has something to do with
some sort of screensaver-type functionality?
