Every second or third time I download a podcast, after the podcast has
finished downloading and the status has changed to "Downloaded",
Rhythmbox will crash. Aport doesn't come up, no other messages.
Rhythmbox just crashes as though it was closed. This just started in
Intrep
There is no crash report. As I said before, Rhythmbox closes just as if
you were the one to close it. Apport doesn't run, no crash report is
generated. It just closes on its own. So I suppose that means this bug
will now be ignored and simply won't get fixed. Wonderful.

I have this same problem in Ubuntu 8.10. I have the latest version of
Flash and the nVidia driver installed, and I have an nVidia 8600GT card.
I'm not using Compiz. Full screen videos from YouTube, Hulu, and South
Park are all jerky. The above workaround for trying to force hardware

Just because the current version of Firefox is buggy doesn't mean you
have to stop using Ubuntu. You could always use Firefox 2 instead,

I used the command "gnomevfs-monitor /dev" and then plugged in the
Forge. The attached file is the output from that command, showing that
the system definately knows it's getting plugged in, even though it's
not creating the appropriate /dev/sd* files, and it's not mounting the
device or creating

When Power Manager is disabled in the Sessions window, when Gnome
starts, the Gnome splash screen stays on the screen until you click on
it. As soon as you re-enable Power Manager, the splash screen
disappears when Gnome is finished loading, like it should.

options, and disabled hardware acceleration? I've noticed some very,
