[Bug 733349] Re: Minimize Application's Windows upon clicking its Launcher Icon

2012-12-29 Thread Gannin
We really need to have the ability to click on the launcher icon to minimize. It's far faster and easier than trying to click the little minimize button that's tucked between the other two. Click to launch, then click to minimize or restore from a minimized state. -- You received this bug notif

[Bug 1181890] [NEW] Tumbler doesn't work with GStreamer back-end

2013-05-19 Thread Gannin
Public bug reported: On a fresh install of Xubuntu 13.04, if you navigate in Thunar to a directory with video files, Tumbler crashes when it tries to generate the video thumbnails and wants to send an error report. If you then install the various GStreamer plugins, Tumbler doesn't crash but still

[Bug 598218] Re: CUPS PDF printer no longer available (Lucid)

2010-07-02 Thread Gannin
This seems to be something of an intermittent issue for me. A little while later, the PDF printer came back and was normal. However a few moments ago I turned on my regular printer and checked in the Printer dialog, and not only did it not list the PDF printer, it didn't even list my regular prin

The next time I see this issue I'll have to try starting CUPS manually to see if that is indeed the issue. I'm still amazed that a production-ready LTS release would have such niggling little usability issues as these. But I digress. -- CUPS PDF printer no longer available (Lucid) https://bugs.

Just as a test, have you right-clicked on a flash object, chosen options, and disabled hardware acceleration? I've noticed some very, very strange behavior with recent versions of Flash which was taken care of by deselecting the hardware acceleration option. -- You received this bug notification
