I think that more important than a backport of nm 0.6.5 for Feisty is a
release of it for Gutsy. It would be weird if a extra repository is
still needed to get and old nm in Gutsy.

Yeah, Pidgin 2.0.2 would be great since it fixes the Jabber transfer bug.
But I think it is important that it is shipped with Gutsy. Feisty users can
install the deb from Getdeb http://www.getdeb.net/app.php?name=Pidgin imho.

I am using a Vaio Sony TX2 with Ubuntu Feisty. Hibernate works fine but
the touchpad scroll field is always dead after resume. You can't scroll
with it anymore. This doesn't happen after suspend and the funny thing
is if I suspend after hibernation t

Thanks for your reply. I have tried to compile this driver from Gutsy

Public bug reported:
Sony TX series and possible many other Sony laptops couldn't use the lowest
brightness setting because the default sony_acpi.c restrict the lowest value
to one instead of zero. This could save some energy so the difference between
Linux and Windows isn't that high any more
The spicctrl entry makes no sense for me and results at least on
sony_acpi Laptops in a bug (sets brightness on the lowest option to 33
(which is out of bound 0-8)) so I have removed it.
