Okay, i did a Update, Checkbox now run's without root privileges.
The whole hardware check was sucsessful and the Datareporting seems to work
again.

sorry for not replying earlier. I have switched to a different setup
since reporting this bug. I am now running Ubuntu 8.04 as a VirtualBox
guest on a Mac OS X host. The problem does not occur there, so I guess
it's ok to close the bug.

For your information: Im running Ubuntu 10.04 Alpha2 on the LG X110 - (a
rebranded MSI Wind).
The Bisoncam now works like a charm, the videoresponse on 1280x1024 is faster
than before and the USB Ports are stable.
I would call this Bug fixed for the next Release.

I have Karmic with up-to-date packages. Tomboy Sync still fails with an

of my systems out of the box. /var/log/couchdb/0.10.0 and
/var/lib/couchdb/0.10.0 dind'nt exists. I added them by hand and owned

I deleted all of my desktop-couch folders, now couchdb does start and the
desktopcouch-service does not crash:

I have not found a real Solution, but a very difficult workaround.
You can compile a newer kernel at your own,
but make sure that in make menuconfig ehci support is tagged <*> and uhci
support is tagges as .
Add uhci-hci to the /etc/modprobe.conf/blacklist.conf
add modprobe uhci-hci to /etc/rc.l

"reconfiguring Samba...". I solved this problem with the following command:
"sudo restart smbd"
IMHO there is a problem in the samba package, and that will be an other bug

Hello!
I followed my own prcedure from the "How to reproduce" in Post Nr.6.
* The Printpreview now shows the right photo, instead of a placeholder image.
* F-Spot does not crash anymore.
Imho this Bug can be set to fixed, also #450456 seems to be fixed.

The PDF Output creates empty PDF Files with a file-size of 50.4 kb.
There is nothing in the .xsession-errors log, and no console output.
