There is a type-ahead feature in banshee, but you have to trigger it by 
pressing "?" first. This is not very obvious... 
Pressing "?" first is some sort of workaround, banshee uses some keys without 
modifier as shortcuts.

For example "F" and "F11" changes to fullscreen mode. The common
shortcuts for fullscreen mode are "F11" and Ctrl + Enter. Ctrl + Enter
instead restarts the current title. IMHO this behaviour is more
confusing then helpful, and i believe it isn't conform to the GNOME HIG
Guidlines. Ubuntu would be more easy to use if Banshee, Totem, and
Rhythmbox would use the same Shortcuts.
