Public bug reported: My Ubuntu Server uses a lot of different Anti-SPAM Techniques. FQDN_Verfify, Blacklists, Greylisting, and some Spamtraps. Everything needet for this Setup can be found in the Ubuntu-Repos. This worked out very fine for quite a while, but recently Spammers found a way around the greyfilter an spam slips into my mailbox again.
A possible solution would be "stuttering". It would be fine if the next Ubuntu Version could include stutter-support for Sendmail, Postfix and Exim. Stuttering means that the Mailserver answers really slow to "untrusted" connections, a reply would take server seconds to serval Minutes. Many Spambots kill the connection, and won't try again.
