ZyDAS WLA-54L WiFi. However, it only occurs when I'm using network-
manager. When I just apt-get remove network-manager and configure my
wireless connection manually (with dhcp) in /etc/networking/interface my

I think Tom Arnold's idea would do the trick.
And as Renaud OLGIATI said it's probably also a good idea to take a look how
other distro's solve the problem.
We don't need to query the Serial Port to know _exactly_ what kind of
Serial Mouse we're using. If we could at least discover that the user
AFAIK this bug still affects Hardy, I'm going to test it this weekend
when I'll install Ubuntu on a PC which I know only uses a serial mouse.
Depending on the results I'll confirm or close this bug.

1.) For many people the autosuspend fix doesn't resolve this bug (for me it
didn't)
2.) This bug may also be caused by low quality cables. For example, a low

When switching users in Lucid, often X will freeze up and just give me a
black screen with blinking cursor. When I try to go to the current
session with Ctrl+Alt+F7,8,9,etc. I either get black, distorted or a
non-responsive unlock screen.
