Added my xorg.conf and log file. I have an ACER 3002WLMi with mobility
Radeon 9700 ( that is what the sticker says )
As the OP says the box starts runs the splash screen and then fails to

running gstreamer-properties and changing the video output plugin to "X Window

I realize now that gdb was catching SIGPIPE before evolution had a

When I previously ran Gutsy 32-bit, my HP PSC-2175 all-in-one printer
was automatically installed and everything Just Worked with no fiddling.
However, after installing upgrading to Hardy 64-bit, I've noticed very
slow printing performan
