Cannot install Wine
Repositories are in Ubuntu a huge server which contains thousands of
programs and libraries all disposable to download and install in Ubuntu.
Dependencies are all managed by synaptic in this incredible system. It
makes installation of programs really easy and avoid incompatibilities
or else.

I tested the "G_SLICE=always-malloc sudo firestarter" command and I got
it to work without crashing, I tested the windows 20 minutes and it
didn't crash in this time.
Here's what I got in the terminal when I started firestarter for the
first time ( the errors about missing file is just because the
I cannot confirm this bug on latest Ubuntu Gutsy release. Gdm doesn't
accept the wrong passwords, I tested 10 differents passwords with non-
ascii characters. The password I used for the accound was pippoo,
because pippo is a too short password, it is not accepted.
Because this bug is about wrong
I confirm that this bug exist in Edgy and Feisty, but not in Gutsy which
seems properly fixed and works exactly as expected with any ascii
characters I've tested so far. Also note that Feisty doesn't accept 5
characters password but Edgy does.
Result of the test on Feisty :

I tested this bug more deeper and found that it just happens with the
final Gutsy CD with usplash 0.5.7.
This bug Doesn't happen with Gutsy Beta release which contains usplash
0.5.5.
That means that the regression appeared between 0.5.5 and 0.5.7

You can install lightning-extension package on Linux Ubuntu Gutsy, the
latest stable ubuntu release.
Since you don't use thunderbird from official ubuntu repositories, we
can't confirm this bug in mozilla-thunderbird unless if you can
reproduce this problem with thunderbird from ubuntu repositorie
Tormod Volden : I can't do that because the 0.5.6 or the 0.5.5 version
is not in the repositories anymore. All I know is that Gutsy Beta
release with 0.5.5 worked and Gutsy Final with 0.5.7 doesn't work.
I believe that this is rather a problem with configuration files because
if I install the Beta
