First I got to tell that I use Hardy 64 bit. I got my Canon MP520 working with a Gutenprinter driver, works very well. However, I can't my scanner working I tried about 6 methods I found on Internet. If you have the 32 bits (i386 version Ubuntu) you can get the printer and the scanner working with
