First I got to tell that I use Hardy 64 bit. I got my Canon MP520 working with a Gutenprinter driver, works very well. However, I can't my scanner working I tried about 6 methods I found on Internet. If you have the 32 bits (i386 version Ubuntu) you can get the printer and the scanner working with the Canon drivers for Linux (to be found on their website). The scanner will also work with Xsane (or Gimp?)
