Any update on this? Its long time since first reports... I am affected
with this one too, it make OS not usable at all. In my case bug exists
on VS Code.

I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 beta. I have three monitors (two nvidia 7800GT
graphics cards) set up with Xinerama spanning one desktop acrost all
three monitors. I am using the ubuntu package nvidia binary driver
(version 180).
When I drag the mouse pointer from one monitor to the

I should note that in those logs some bleeding-edge mesa from the ppa is in
use. that was just some last-ditch attempt to get something workable, and is
not related to the problem. I saw this even when I disabled dri, and removed
the radeon kernel module.

playing audacious and using firefox only. got this error, and pulse
died. strangely, it appears that audacious did not in fact crash. it is
still running, stuck in the middle of a song. I am not able to resume
playback however, because pulse does not appear to be running. I did not
get apport for p

I actually did observe this a few days ago in pavucontrol (one channel
moving spurriously, sudden muting while adjusting volume w/ mouswheel,
only on control for affected soundcard (the soundblaster mp3+ usb)) but
seems fine now...

I get this also, but only for a secondary USB sound device.
I have 2 volume-applets, the first works fine, the other spontaneously mutes
one channel, refuses to lock l/r, etc.
the mixer that functions is for a "HDA Intel"
the broken one is for a "Sound Blaster MP3+"

On my 64-bit gusty frontend when I view the "proprietary codecs" page in
mythbuntu control center all four codecs are valid choices. I get an
error message if I try to install "w32codecs". I think the w32codecs
should be grayed
