This seems to be a regression re. uaer's flexibility as to what is shown in the
launcher.
It is an all or nothing choice, I only want mounted volumes showing. as was

As of release of Alpha3 iso this seems to be resolved.
At least on my i386 hardware. I had been removing
ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu from the live session resulting
in successful installs.
It appears that the recent changes in ubiquity have been

Well, all the nux packages came down on main finally
but that made little difference, and unity plugin became disabled
so I reset everything as is on my working installs, compiz still crashed.
So I uninstalled nvidia-current and lo and behold I was able to log into

Installed Maverick Alpha 3 w/2.6.35.14 kernel on a PATA drive, because
the Live-CD/USB still would not recognize my SATA drives. Found out that
the Silicon Image 3114 controller is recognized, but the drives are not.
There is no raid meta-data showing on the drives which I've read can be
an issue.
Just to add, I am still not having any luck with having my sata drives detected
in Maverick up through 2.6.35.11.
I am going to try Alpha 3 soon and will post results.
