This bug is affecting me, both on the live desktop iso since July 4, and an HDD install since I updated it on about the same date. I can access things in the top panel and the launcher, except BFB, applications, and folders. Also zeitgeist crashes within 15-20 seconds of getting to the desktop. That bug is reported too. All was well until Updates and new daily iso around July 3-4.
