Got some GPU lookup today too (hope its the same thing and the correct bug
report to add to) - happend the first time.
No openGL involved afaik can tell.
System recovered without i need to kill something, but mouse cursor is borke
Addon: Restart X did not help, mouse still garbage - had to reboot. Any

But the warning has changed a little bit:

Yes it does work normally after compiling it for maverick (git tree)
with KMS disabled. All fine. So it might still be useful for others too.

After upgrading to maverick login via gdm is broken.
After typing username + password session is starting but instantly X (gdm) does
restart and your back at the login screen.
Used a "new created" user and reinstalled gdm already.

Tried again with Lucid today:
- crossfading disabled - it still does crash:
[43502.235914] rhythmbox[7388]: segfault at 18 ip 077679c9 sp bf904860
error 4 in libmtpdevice.so[775c000+1]
- crossfading plugin enabled (0.0 seconds, 32kb size):
seems to work - did not crash yet but did only test
Thats right - its only missing in gnome system tray, KDE Desktop its
there. I'll see if i can get it test in a maverick VM.

This does help to solve the problem described (add it to a new global
system wide fonts conf file or to a custom user only place as described
by fontconfig docs) - but having the thai package still there.
