Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kdepim-runtime

Running akonaditray in 9.10 did show me a icon in system tray - after upgrade
to lucid its gone.
akonaditray is running but no icon is shown - using Gnome as Desktop.

Need to run kcmshell4 kcm_akonadi by hand to get settings menu for
akonadi - should be done via tray icon, shouldn't it?
