Public bug reported: Nearly one - tow times per day my gnome-shell freezes and i have to reboot. Restarting X from a terminal - i am able to switch to a vt but any X interaction is nearly unpossible (still have to wait like 1 minute to switch to the vt after pressing the key) - via lightdm and dbus does not help, it will instantly freeze again after login. Attaching my xsession-errors file, clutter is complaining about some failed assertions, mabye its the cause - maybe not, don't know. Don't know the action which triggers this - sometimes its switching a window, sometimes it when clicking on a status symbol like pidgin, can't tell the trigger and don't know how to provoke. After a reboot gnome-shell does work again, really mysterious - maybe its a used extension, but theres nothing in xsession-errors which may give me hint which one.
