additional checksum error in superblock. when i was booting only to
linux then there were always errors i wrote in previous comments, but I

all this started because of damaged
problem seems to be related to ext2fsd on windows 10 (I have dual boot)
disk corruptions start as soon as I install it and mount the partition. after
it corruptions appear even when I don't boot into windows - probably it damaged
something too bad

i have alx module inserted after every boot to make my network adapter
work. (Atheros). i installed linux-backports-modules-cw package for this
and added alx into /etc/modules
i was just experimenting and before shutdown did 'sudo rmmod alx'. now

for me it also works with 8.04, but i had to connect rear speaker as
center/lfe and center/lfe as rear, otherwise sound was played
incorrectly. it seems that default connectors (also marked with color)
in windows xp drivers match hardware and alsa has it somehow changed.

i have same problem, only in my case k3b doesn't freeze, i can cancel
'verification' and go on. i use hardy, 32bit version.
its extremely annoying and it happens on every pc i have access to. some
have atapi dvd-writers, some sataall are desktops, i never tried it
with notebook. and its not on

i noticed this with torrent file which had lot of entries (attached)
size of all items together is 9.4gb. now when you set first 2 entries to
don't download then download size is reduced. when you set more items to
don't download size grow
i just tried to install .deb files from gutsy
http://packages.ubuntu.com/gutsy/prc-tools-arm
http://packages.ubuntu.com/gutsy/prc-tools-m68k
http://packages.ubuntu.com/gutsy/prc-tools-utils
everything seems to work. so please add these packages to normal hardy
reporitory too

same problem is with pose. pose-skins package is available, but pose itself is
missing.

i am not sure if my issue is related to this or not
i had ubuntu 6.06 with no problem, this i upgraded to 6.10 and immediately to
7.04. both upgrades weren't problem-free, but i believe problems werent related
to this (6.06->6.10 failed to upgrade some packages, which i didn't needed so i
uninst
