The 'cache credentials' config option does not have any effect on the bug and
for the tests I have disabled it.

In my case (Acer Aspire 1810TZ) the alsa-hda-dkms_0.1_all.deb does not solve
the problem. I can see the inverted internal mic in alsamixer, but I cannot
edit it (see screenshot). I cannot see any microphone activity in the audio
settings window (and in skype), unless I mute one channel with pavu
@Brian, have a look at bug 1002978, maybe you are affected by that also.

The internal microphone is missing from my Acer Aspire 1810TZ and the
workaround of comment #32 restores it in the sound settings dialog.
However, to make the microphone effectively work, I have to unlock the input
channels with pavucontrol and set them to different levels, as described here:

After killing lightdm I can see that the home directory was not created.

I have the same problem with a Radeon X1300 card and it can be fixed using the
'radeon.modeset=0' kernel option, so I guess it is related to KMS.
The problem was not present in ubuntu 10.04 and started to show in 10.10. It is
still present in 11.04 alpha 3.

This is what happens on my system:
- with brasero-2.30.0 and cdrdao-1.2.2 I cannot make cd-audio images and cannot
copy cd-audio on the fly
- with brasero-2.30.0 and cdrdao-1.2.3 I can make cd-audio images and cannot
copy cd-audio on the fly
- with brasero-2.31.2 and cdrdao-1.2.2 I cannot make cd
I have made packages of brasero-2.31.2 using the sources from ftp.gnome.org,
They are available on my ppa archive: https://launchpad.net/~renbag/+archive/ppa
However, with cdrdao_1.2.2 the plugin still complains that the version is too
old. It is OK with cdrdao_1.2.3.

Well, it seems that the problem is that the 'battery_bar' object takes the
(height),(width) argument in a wrong way.
Changing:
${battery_bar 8}
to:
${battery_bar}
is a temporary solution.

Binary package hint: conky
After upgrading from conky-all_1.8.0-1 to conky-all_1.8.0-1ubuntu1 the
'battery_bar' object always returns an empty value.
The 'battery' and 'battery_time' objects, instead, return the correct values.
Running conky 1.8.0-1 from the command line:
I solved my problem, as an Active directory user, after removing this
line:
session optional pam_gnome_keyring.so auto_start
in /etc/pam.d/gdm.
Now the keyring daemon starts with the following options:
gnome-keyring-daemon --start --components=ssh
and ubuntuone runs normally.
