on a zfs rootfs installation with zsys. The modifcation dates however of the
files look ok according to ls.

Thanks Paul, I don't know where that xorg tag came from.
I finally installed the latest 4.8rc1 and rc2 kernels and will be able
to update this bug tomorrow. Unfortunately I can't create the missing
logs via apport-collect, due to some missing python qt module.

Affects me too in Ubuntu 14.04 with cpufreqd 2.4.2-2ubuntu1.
Effect is that when AC power is restored, full performance mode is not
endabled so this is a major drawback for laptop users who which to
preserve energy when AC off and gain full performance when AC is on.

Am I right that all kernels shipped with ubuntu like 3.13.0-32-generic
will get the UTS_UBUNTU_RELEASE_ABI set to the ubuntu version, in this
case 32 and the mainline kernels will get it set to 0.

The not multiarch capable packages are not required by an multiarch package,
but just recommended so just installing this particular package without
recommends works.
For installing wine I used the following:
aptitude install --without-recommends libqt4-sql
aptitude install wine
aptitude markaut
I installed the rt2860 driver directly from ralink, as mentioned above.
For several days I didnt had a single kernel panic.
So, at least, this is a workaround.

Today, an normal new Linux-User asked me how to open a (sending) pdf-file,
because he had no idea. The Firefox-open-dialog suggests the program 'less'
(Why???). He has tried it. => nothings to see.
After that, I helped and choose /usr/bin/acroread manualy and sa

I am using a conon ixus 55 digital camera. there was no problem with
automatically import of photos with gutsy. but in hardy i get no
importdialog after attaching the camera. Gnome is set to import pictures
if a camera is attached.(system-->settings)
