I've noticed that wl.ko is not loaded in the 26 kernel. Back in the day,
I may have worked on WLAN stuff for Ubuntu at Broadcom, so I'll give

still using gconf:

Suddenly found possible cause/workaround for the bug. In 12.10
environment variable GTK_MODULES is set for all DE (including KDE or
XFCE). If variable is unset, gdk_error_trap_pop may disappear appear
when starting GTK applications.
On my desktop:
$ env | grep GTK_MODULES
GTK_MODULES=canberra-gtk

I have enabled proposed-repository and installation is done
successfullly but the problem is still there. Thing is that it doesnt
seem that it is a false alert. After receiving several errors, the
computer is getting warmer and the fun runs faster. Freankly speaking I
am afraid of the bug

1. Copy "pm_test" file to Home Folder, open terminal to run " sudo python
pm_test -r 30 poweroff" command.
2. After 20 minutes, find system hang up with backlight off.
