I think it is unclear what the desired result is here. On 15.10 when I
press quickly you can see the alt-tab switcher appear for a few milli-
seconds before the desired window appears, but just barely. Does this
count as a pass or a failure?

I cannot reproduce this on the latest version of Ubuntu (15.10). Using a
mostly black wallpaper and Unity changes its colour to a dark blue/black
that looks just fine.

dragging a hyperlink from the browser to the edge of the screen, and
then letting it go (it doesn't matter where). The launcher will then not
reveal until (or equivalent) is pressed. This isn't the only way
to reproduce this,

I have been able to reproduce this in 15.10 to an extent. The window
rolls up and the titlebar disappears, but I haven't experienced any

This isn't really a bug in Unity. If you turn off mouse pointer
integration (under the "Machine" menu) to prevent the host from stealing
the focus everything works like a charm. This means that with pointer
integration enabled and auto hide turned on when the mouse reaches the

Steps to reproduce: Under System Settings -> Privacy disable file and
application recording and clear all usage data (in the "Files and
Application" tab) and disable online dash results from the "Search"
tab.
