I've got a RH7.3 box running postfix 1.1.12 and squirrelmail, and I'm
having problems sending mail. When I hit "send" in the compose screen,
it POSTs something but never sends the mail. This happens with both
1.2.11 and 1.4.0 RPMs.

Thank you Paul, that makes sense. I only recently been logging into

I tried out a couple of the logon pluggins and decided on http-auth. Later I
noticed the 'toggle all' link at the top and bottom of the inbox (and other
folders) has changed to 'select all'. I miss the toggle. Any idea how to get

Good Afternoon,
First of all, thanks for responding my question. I´ve solved the

Hello,
I have my SpamAssassin rules pretty tight for my account, but I had a

it was tagged was because no X-Mailer line was added to the header by

Well, afaik, you need some sort of IMAP server in order to run squirrelmail.
Now that doesn't prevent you from disabling mail access via the IMAP protocol,
of course - to do that just disable the port/daemon or both on your box...

Interesting that you say that. I have my SM site as part of my 'Trusted'
sites in IE, and the only time I get the toggle is if I haven't logged in
for a while & login_auto expires my cached password.

Hello Maarten.
This has just been fixed last week, and will appear in the upcoming 1.4
I just set up SM on a RH Enterprise ES box and didn't install any IMAP
server on it at all. SM is working fine, pointing to an Exchange server for
IMAP.

sounds like when login_auto is logging you in, the javascript check is
being bypassed... without looking at it, though, I would have assumed
that the javascript setting from your last login should hold... not sure

Thanks for the response. Would be great if an expert could assemble a FAQ on
this subject - it's important. We'd like to enable our members to set up shared
