I have installed squirrelmail on RedHat9 and it works and looks great.
I also installed PHP and MySQL which I am not even sure I am using.
I am using the IMAP server that came with RedHat Not sure which it is.
Here are my questions:

That's most likely uw-imap.

Not as part of SquirrelMail. Every system is different, there's no
'standard' API we can code for. Basic

FWIW.I've been using Mdk 8.0/Postfix/SquirrelMail for 18 months and
use 'Webmin' to manage mail accounts (bib/false belonging to 'ispuser'
group) via its web interface. There's a Webmin RedHat RPM.

Although if you have the right kind of setup, there are actuall

little direction. It won't come cheap, you still have to do your own
