I have installed squirrelmail on RedHat9 and it works and looks great. I also installed PHP and MySQL which I am not even sure I am using. I am using the IMAP server that came with RedHat Not sure which it is.
Here are my questions:
Is there anyway to create users through a web interface and manage accounts as well?
Are there any tools that allow management of any client from a remote client other than command line?
Do I NEED to have a linux user for every mail user? Or can I have virtual users? How and what part of the installation takes care of that?
If I can have virtual user, how is the authentication done? Where are the user accounts stored?
What do I need MySql for and how do I create the database and actually start using it? I need the commands for this and since I am new to MySql I am not sure if there is a client or something that can help log me into it. So lost :D
I am wasting away in the heat of the server room trying to figure out all this stuff, any help would be great.
Thank you sooooooo much
