I had the same crashes due to a bug in Rybka's command line parser. I
corrected it in CVS, and now Rybka 3 1-CPU works for me, but maybe the MP
version has other bugs that would need workarounds. So you should look at
data exchanges between Scid and Rybka, reproduce them on command line and
get Ryb
I am tryng to run a 64-bit Rybka 3 via microwine using SCID on my Ubuntu 8.04
64-bit system. When I start Rybka3 it crashes. Microwine and rybka3 run fine in
a terminal window. Any hints as to how to get this working are greatly
appreciated.

I've broken something but I cannot figure out what. Sure, my hash table
limitations continue, but now when I try to run the multi-cpu version of
Rybka3, 'top' shows that two engines start but quickly only one engine goes
away.
Is there a log file I can look into to see what error message(s) ma
