I am using System Monitor 2.0.4 on RH9 and wonder if anything better is out
there as it just doesn't seems very accurate. When I run a java process
(Tomcat) that runs the cpu up to 100%, the process itself shows 0% cpu
usage but of course when I kill it then the system goes back to a no

I use a matrox G450 DualHead card with 2x21" Dell monitors without a
problem.. RH recognises them a sets it up for you.. But I prefer the
drivers and programs that are downloaded from the matrox site.. I'd
always recommend matrox cards when it comes to dualhead setups..

I have a dual monitor set up running off of a Matrox Parhelia video card.
Is there a way to show the text consoles (Alt+Ctrl+F[1-6]) on one monitor
and the X console (Alt+Ctrl+F7) on the other monitor?

No. Plug 'n' Play with respect to monitors is a marketing gimmick. It

I use linux on pnp monitors. No problems w/XFree86 or console mode - I think
the video drivers just ignore pnp info, which is fine with me. Two systems
dual (duel :P) boot NT, one is dedicated linux.
