just a few side notes. i rebuild a lot of src rpms. so many that i made a small script where all i need to do is type rpmrb .src.rpm . i just did: pico /usr/local/bin/rpmrb rpm --rebuild --target=i686 $1 chmod 100 /usr/local/bin/rpmrb now for patching. like mike said, installing the source rpm
