Sorry if this is a re-post, the last post I sent on this subject went into a
rh mailing list "blackhole."
My rpm database is corrupt and I've tried both the "rpm --rebuilddb," and the
"rpm --initdb" and neither works. When I try to install and rpm, do a rpm
-qa, or rpm -Va, I get a segmentati
It seems to take at least 24-hours for my posts to show up on this list, but
usually 2 to 3 days...is everyone else experiencing the same delays?

e on the RH errata site for RH7.2. I have been experiencing
the same exact problem that you are. One thing I noticed is that I
started getting a "that name already being used" message on my windows
machine every time I booted the win machine while samba was running.

bout changing the apache rpm source and recompiling
to get an rpm with the custom configured paramters such as the suexec
docroot ? Is there a reference for somewhere that aids in modifying
the source rpm so one can produce the custom rpm ?

Hmmm...
Netscape 6 installed flawlessly for me and seems, at least for now, to
be faster and *less* buggy than the previous 4.x version. Not only
that, the fonts seem to be well behaved and managable.
