Hello redhat-list, Someone recently asked why their ftp connection was slow through their firewall. It is most likely due to the ftp server doing a tcp/auth (port 113) back to the destination client. If you are not accepting in and forwarding port 113 from the inside of your firewall to the outside the ftp connection will eventually establish, but take a very long time...up to a minute.
Put a sniffer on it to see. Hope it helps. -- Best regards, Badger mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
