Here, here! I agree, linuxconf sucks wind and is way too buggy for any use
at all, let alone central sysadmin. I can't see why this piece of crap
keeps finding its way back into linux distributions. I apologize for not
knowing the history of linuxconf, but I don't care anyway. This is a good
way to scare away the new or destop user, by having this beasty
piece-of-crap mysteriously write to config files and break your system and
services.
I'll stop blowing steam now, but someone at RH should be paying attention to
this thread and all others concerning linuxconf...please get the message
"linuxconf in the wrong direction to go."
