I'm working with some Foundry switches that also do load balancing. In order to use
the failover features and still keep the original source IP I have to add a loopback
adapter for the virutal IP of the load balanced pool.
Pretend the VIP is 192.168.100.200. I need to add a loopback adapter fo

Well, I wouldn't use anonymous access, if you only want certain people to
use it - it sounds contradictive to me.

I finally got my system configured the way I want it, and went to back

Thanks to all who replied to my original post. I was in a whining mood
last night, so pardon my tears. I'll find something that will work, or
switch back to Caldera's product. No big deal, really, aside from the
bucks spent on RH and the 4.3.7 Applixware upgrade. Thanks again!
Take care, and
I said I "torture tested" all the WMs shipped with Red Hat, and I stated
that fvwm95 passed with colors. NOT SO! I didn't try changing mail

I got a message from Dave Wreski detailing how I could use alternative

Once I RTFMed the complete manual for ftape 3.x, I found out that
multiple modules are built for that version, and have to be loaded in a
specific sequence. For some reason, COL just dealt with it and Red Hat
couldn't. I wrote an init script to load the drivers in the proper

I'm having a problem with Communicator 4.04-3 on my system. I'm a fresh
install of Red Hat 5.0. If I go to any web site, my fonts become

whacked, the fonts within the browser get whacked, the fonts on menus

I just made the switch from Caldera OpenLinux 1.1 to Red Hat 5.0 (good

I don't, but a handy way to find would be:
find / -type f -print | xargs grep CLASSPATH
It'll take awhile, but it'll do the job.
