I received an offline message from Seven Filling detailing the same
problem with Accelerated X running on a Diamond Stealth 3d card with 4M
RAM configured for 1152x846 and 64K colors with a generic monitor. He
suggested toggling between X and console a couple of times to clear it
up. He said he was going to email a bug report to Xi; I suggested the
following:

Another possibility I didn't consider is a bug in Afterstep. I'll try
Communicator with another WM and report back. I suggested going to
C-5.0 and asking for assitance from the open source community because we
get results, even if it's the manufacturer's problem.

Are we the only two experiencing this one?

I also wrote to the list:

No response there at all. As I stated, I can't read the errata on the
RH web site. If someone has the answer to this one, I'd be indebted.

As always, TIA.
