Kevin,
I have that one on a MB in a server that I am running. It has not had an issue yet.
Knock on wood, but
when I installed it, it gave me some issues. I thought it was the card, I found out
later it was the nut behind the screw.

I down loaded the 2.2.16.rpm source, rpm'ed it and then
added a patch (HighPoint 370 chip). That all went well.
My real goal is to add the patch for the HighPoint IDE
chip, and then maybe tune up and such for the K7.
Before I dig out the kernel-howto, I'm using the RedHat
guide.
I did

I believe that alsa supports such setups. Alsa is included in my kernel
rpms as ftp://duke.eburg.com/pub/linux/redhat-6.
Has anyone else been having problems with the Intel eepro100 embedded
NICs? I have a few customers that have been complaining of drop-outs
with these cards and it seems to be caused by the 2.2.16 (definite I've
seen it myself) and the 2.2.14 (just heard this one) kernels. I also

Not completely sure what you're asking here, but I'll give it a shot. If,
as I'm guessing, you're referring to packet writing for Linux, it's still
currently in development. As far as CD creation and duplication of
non-protected disks, I suggest starting with CDRECORD.

Hi Paul,
You can absolutely do as you say.
You should probably try looking here first...

as it has a well written how-to as well as many other resources.
You can skip the part in the how-to about the kernel compile, a stock Redhat
kernel is set up to work.

I've been playing around with ipchains using different commands, but

there (search for "tif fax" and this is the first hit - kind of like

built-in ethernet adapters (and I presume built-in jet-direct services).
