i have a simple network set up.
i just want to give my masq'd box access & have read perms to a
drive/folder that is on this box.
i have become very confused after reading the nfs, exportfs, mount and a
few other man pages.
is there a simple non confusing way to get this to work??
i have what i think is the right setup, but i get :
[root@masq'dbox bigb]# mount 192.168.1.1:/dir /home/bigb/dir
mount: RPC: Unable to receive; errno = Connection refused
and have this in the /etc/exports file:
/dir masq'dbox(ro,no_root_squash)
and did a exportfs -r
anything i might be missing/doing wrong??
i have saved old emails in regards to this subject and got this far, but
none of them covered this error.
