Good call Nate. This appears to be a duplicate of 432744 since "killall
xembedsniproxy" fixes the problem. The killall command also remove Teams from
the systemtray, thus a caveat to the killall command

I never manually mirrored the screens. Kscreen seems to be working fine when
all resolution and monitor position adjustments are made via kscreen.
