Fails to build with recent kernel headers (bug #801688).
Upstream is gone for a long time. Masked for removal in 30 days.
Users should switch over to net-dns/dnsmasq which provides similar

With enough motivation we can carry that revert for a very long time. I
know that because I still carry reverts in my udev packages from when
it was
couple of Gentoo systems and even
though these systems don't have to compile anything themselves,
installing ~100 to ~200 binpkgs takes way more than an hour of
installation time. Arch Linux' pacman only takes a fraction of this
time for the very same task.

Considering the questionable license situation with latest sys-libs/db

Since all the installations are the same, as long as you provide a sane
set of binpkgs, dependency calculation should not matter anyway.
The only issue I can think of is that a system might become broken if
the update gets interrupted before all packages have been updated.

would help me determining when this bash version can be
removed from package.mask.
Perhaps we even consider stabilizing bash-4.4 a bit sooner now that
there's a security bug [2] that requires bash-4.4 for the fix.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Alex,
I suggest you open a bug about this in our bugzilla [1].
Use something like "dev-util/electron uses bundled libs" as subject and
describe the issue briefly.
Thanks.
