comparing 4.2 20070902 with 4.2 20070925 + plus the proposed patch, I see two
regressions:
FAIL: g++.dg/ext/vla4.C (test for errors, line 10)
FAIL: g++.dg/other/unused1.C scan-assembler
(string|ascii?)z
