building current 4.2 branch configured with --enable-secureplt --enable-libstdcxx-debug, with current binutils trunk results in an ld segfault which is not seen without the --enable-secureplt option. -- http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=31364
