Yes, I think this it is a good way; I use it manually to make my tests
now.
I think it can be automated with a "small" script which does that,
that is test if previous connexion is available, and if not "wlist" the
available and ask the user necessary data if needed.
Thank you.

Try using the repository at http://www.vin-dit.org/ . I haven't tried it
myself, as I compile from source, but it seems relatively up to date.
You could also use the native Debian ifupdown system to bring up your
wireless connection on system startup. Edit the /etc/network/interfaces
file, and
Sure, we need people testing things. If you want to provide feedback that
is useful you should be filing bug reports on Phab -> phab.enlightenment.org
You ARE going to have issues with compiling from GIT though. It is unstable
by design.

I will disagree with you here
Hi Jeff,
are you honestly complaining about a user trying to give some feedback
on the software he loves to use in order to help turning it into a
better product? ;-)
So you propose that all my issues will be solved just by using e-0.18.3
and efl-1.8.5? If so I will give it a shot.

By "stable", I want to say, e17 (or e18...) not fully up to date but
maintained without big bug or bad regression.
I ask because I cannot use connman/e17 "official" packages as it is not
enabled in jessie.
Thank you all.

Are you honestly complaining about issues with software you've compiled
from a development repository? If you want super stable, consistent
software use the *releases*. They are there for a reason.

While checking the "ACPI Bindings" I have noticed that the "Lid Closed"
event is bound to "Suspend".
However, if I close the lid, the notebook is not suspended but only the
screen is blanked.

In my experience that is exactly how depleted batteries behave, they no
longer report a nice predictable or linear charge/discharge curve. And
they start to do this suddenly - usually related to partial or complete
failure of one of the cells.
Modern batteries are smart - the system asks them how
