Why, Dell's finest Korean battery suppliers of course! ;-)

When I bought it there was an option for large or an even larger battery
(loosely translated marketing speak). I went for the even larger option and
has served me nicely. Although the level of charge it now reports is
misleading, I can still run the laptop playing mplayer and going through
emails and things like that for the best part of 40-45 minutes before it conks
out. I have been running the laptop each working day on the battery (daily
commute to work) so it has been draining and recharging regularly, over the
last 4.5 years. I would think that it is now at the very end of its useful
life.
