You can drag applications from one screen to another?! When I try that
the window stays and only the mouse makes it to the other screen. Do
you have Xinerama On? I do not.

It is problem in latest debian packages for unstable, libxrender-dev and
the same problem is with package libXcursor-dev. Try to extract this
file from package for testing repository and copy it to destination
directory. (I done it this way)
