Tuxracer runs perfectly, foo-billards runs fine, quakeII runs 100% (this

r a particular package. man apt-cache for more info.
It's hard to be more specific than that, because the package you're
referring to (xlibmesa-gl1-dri-mach64) doesn't appear to be a Debian
package (that is, it doesn't show up at all at p.d.o).

X fail to start anything beyond 15bpp.
X starts below 8bpp but screen has very noisy color assignment (looks

I couldn't get my Xpression+ TV2PC card to work with the Mach64
chipset defined, but it worked just fine if I defined the chipset
as VESA (up to 800x600).
