Guarddog depends on xlibmesa-gl | libgl1, IIRC xlibmesa-gl1-dri-mach64 provides xlibmesa3-gl and maybe xlibmesa4-gl but not xlibmesa-gl (I changed that so I am not sure what the original package said) As for qt (I thing its the dev, right) IIRC it depends on xlibmesa-gl-dev which depends on a specific version of xlibmesa-gl which is removed.
