Why? For small partition, ext3 is manageable. Also you can access with
any boot floppy to fix thing in ext3 since it can be read as ext2.

with different command line settings (in the 'Select Net Modules' step of

For what it's worth we use qmail as per apt-get install qmail-source and
vpopmail 4.10.9 from inter7 with no problems. I cant recall what I did,
but there is an option to build a debian-compatible version of vpopmail
either at inter7's site or in the .configure script.

I apt-get-upgraded my Woody yesterday and have massive problems with
Eterm since I booted today.
- It takes about ten seconds to start an Eterm, five seconds to close
it, five seconds to to popup a menu. (P800 w/ 500MB RAM)
- My themes in /usr/share/Eterm/themes are ignored.

I am wondering if someone knows how I can reduce the number of processes start for DB's squid package. I seem to have way to many during startup. I have counted 18 and would like to decrease by 5 or so. Can anyone tell where I can make this cha
I have found that whenever ntp-simple is upgraded my ntp.conf server
lines get erased -- I would like to tell debconf or whatever program
is trying to be so helpful not to mess with my ntp.conf -- this is
Linux after all not some other os, so anyone have an idea of how to
do this?
