of 5 since you going into x, there should be a startup script for gpm in
/etc/rc5.d named something like S88gpm. delete it. Now gpm won't start

Something strange has happened to my file systems: I've resized a
partition (ext2) with parted, installed windows on another. On my
other disk I have woody which I mostly use. But now parted says
/dev/hda1 is ext2, whereas fdisk says it's amoeba. What's wrong?! I

I am using mutt as my prefered mail reader, and sometimes I just don't
want to read all the mail, so I just check the headers and mark them as
read. Is there a way to tag all the wanted messages and than mark them
all as read?
(I know how to tag, but marking all the tagged messages as read par

use apt-cdrom (man apt-cdrom). i suggest to make a backup of your
sources.list before using it... you have to "add" each cd, then
update... then you should be able to dist-upgrade as normal.
